Race gear modifications?

Any of you crazy Euro racers got any modifications that you do to your race set ups that you would like to share?

What do you do to your race boots to make them lighter and better for racing? I know just getting a pair of XP500's in the correct answer here, but what about modifying F1's and Dynafit Race Pro boots?

Do you all buy race ready back packs, or are there some nice home brews that you do to standard packs?

Skin attachments to Trab skis?

Any think that can be done to the TLT Speed binding to lose some weight?

Do you know where can I find the best prices for bindings, boots, skis...mountain material in general? Any interesting web page. I´m from Spain and I purchase my material in Germany, but I´d like to compare prices if posible with other web pages.

Common, you gonna tell me that not ONE PERSON that visits skimo.org does any modifications to their gear for racing?
You all just buy XP 500, Dynafit Low Tech binding and Trab world cup ski, so every thing is already lite?
No, some one must do something, surly.
