25-26/03: Romanian National Championship in Parang mountain (RO)

Informations about the Romanian National Championship in Parang mountain.

Parang Mountain is situated in west side of Middle Carpathians, very good place for ski mountaineering tours and from middle of February till middle of April also for competition.

The individual race has been adjourned to 24-26.03.2006, in Parang Mountain. After three days of raining, wind and bad weather, after greats efforts from the organizers, in the morning of the team’s race everything was prepared. Very good snow and sunny weather in both race days.

25/03: Team Race: +1950m, -1720m, 17.4 km long

The club CSAM Bucegi Predeal wins the national title and third position in team race. On the second place has been situated first team from Dinamo Brasov.

26/03: Individual Race: +1720m, -1720m, 18 km long for senior and espoir / +1150m, -1150m, 15.2km long for junior

The last year espoir Manea Silviu win one more time in 2006 the National Championship, and increase his ski mountaineering performance with another five national champions title. The athlete from CSAM Bucegi has been followed by Ionut Galiteanu (CSAM Bucegi) and Francu Dumitru.
