P, comme Perrier. P, comme Pedranzini. P, comme… premiers. Au terme d’une semaine de compétitions dans le Chablais et les Portes-du-Soleil (CH), le Français et l’Italienne ont été les rois des 4èmes championnats du monde de ski-alpinisme. Florent Perrier a conquis quatre médailles d’or et une d’argent. Côté féminin, Roberta Pedranzini a fait la même moisson. Par nations, l’Italie s’est imposée devant la France, la Suisse, l’Espagne et la Tchéquie.

Rarement titre mondial aura été aussi disputé. La lutte pour les trois médailles de la course par équipes masculine a été incertaine jusqu’aux derniers hectomètres de la dernière montée. Celle des dames a été plus limpide même si la victoire italienne a été constamment menacée. Finalement les paires Roberta Pedranzini – Francesca Martinelli (I) et Florent Perrier – Alexandre Pellicier (F) se sont adjugés l’or de cette épreuve exigeante tracée en parallèle du domaine skiable de Morgins- Champoussin. L’Italie, la France et l’Espagne se sont partagées les titres en jeu chez les cadets et les juniors
